TURBODOG SPIRIT CENTER - A Forrest Yoga Community
A new model - our non-profit Center is one part yoga studio, one part community center and one part spiritual community.
Turbodog Spirit Center was born from a vision – literally. While performing the sacred Native American purification ceremony of sweat lodge, Talya received a vision of a sacred fire, with smoke billowing up, transforming and healing everyone it touched. This vision called her to co-create Turbodog Spirit Center with her husband Steve. The sacred fire is the Center, and the smoke is the healing energy born from the Center’s activities.
We invite you to make the home of Forrest Yoga in Chicago your home too. Come be nourished by these amazing individuals who we are lucky enough to call our students. Come & be a part of something truly unique & transformative.
The Center is supported by its members. Members receive unlimited yoga classes, free mp3s, free participation in community activities and so much more.
The Center is open to anyone and everyone. Yoga classes are available to all without discrimination. Individuals experiencing financial difficulties are encouraged to attend and to donate whatever they can afford, be it $5 or $1.
The Center is also supported by charitable contributions made by philanthropic friends who recognize the central role that community plays in the healing of ourselves and ultimately of our planet.
